Mr. Ardell Jacobs, Jr. was born June 8th, 1957 departed this life on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Ardell Jacobs, Sr. and Ms. Edna Jacobs Lowery; two sisters: Ms. Flora Mae Locklear and Ms. Ida Pearl Locklear; one brother: Mr. Delton Ray Jacobs and one brother-in-law: Mr. Ronald Locklear.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Locklear & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Locklear officiating. The entombment will follow in the Lowery Family Cemetery.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of 16 years: Mrs. Vanessa Coronado Medina of the home; two step-sons: Mr. Joseph Medina (Holly) of Florida and Mr. Jacob Medina (Kim) of Myrtle Beach; one daughter: Ms. Holanda Culbertson (Jason) of Maxton; two sons: Mr. Ryan Dale Jacobs (Quessie) of New Orleans and Mr. Marlin Jacobs (Kim) of Rowland; one sister: Ms. Diane Locklear of Pembroke; one brother: Mr. Haroldine Jacobs (Doris) of Pembroke; one adopted sister: Ms. Cindy Lowery Locklear (Stevie) of Pembroke and a special friend: Ms. Wendy Sanderson Hammonds; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grands and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Locklear and Son Funeral Home for a walk through visitation.
