Mr. Alvis Cummings, 69 of Falcon, NC was born in Robeson County on August 2, 1956 and departed this life on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Golden Years Nursing Home. He is preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Gary Locklear and Mrs. Sarah Magalene Cummings Locklear; two brothers: Mr. Dale Cummings and Mr. Don Cummings; one sister: Ms. Peggy Chavis and a daughter: Ms. Cynthia Ann Cummings.
He was a dedicated employee of Piggly Wiggly for many years.
The graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday, October 17, 2025 at Lumbee Memorial Gardens with Rev. Scottie Deal officiating.
Mr. Cummings is survived by seven sisters: Ms. Marlene Locklear, Ms. Tammy Lowery, Ms. Eva Locklear, Ms. Cora Lee Hammonds, Ms. Phyllis Hammonds, Ms. Bonita Lowry and Ms. Janice Hunt and a host of relatives and friends.
