Ms. Mazelene Thomas, 73, of Pembroke, NC died Friday, July 23, 2021 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC of natural causes. Ms. Thomas was born July 29, 1947 in Laurinburg, NC and attended Robeson County Public Schools. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. Edison and Mrs. Helen Carter; one sister: Ms. Marilyn T. Hunt; two brothers: Mr. Earl R. Thomas and Mr. John H. Thomas.
Ms. Thomas loved her family and going to church on Sunday to worship the Lord. She was loved by all who knew her and never met a stranger. She was known by either “Aunt Mazel” or “Grandma” and loved all.
The visitation will be 5 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2021 at Locklear & Son Funeral Home Chapel.
She was survived by her four children: Mr. Robbie Eddings of Pembroke, NC, Mr. Ronnie Eddings of Lumberton, NC, Ms. Rose Eddings of Pembroke, NC and Mr. Roscoe Eddings IV of Lumberton, NC; nine grandchildren: Albert (Kent) Sampson, Danny Sampson, Aaron Eddings, Ashely Eddings, Cheyenne Eddings, Marco Almendariz, Timothy Almendariz, Samantha Eddings and Anthony (Tristan) Eddings; a sister: Ms. Mary Flagg of Pembroke, NC. As well as a host of great-grands, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
