Mrs. Myrdith Faye Bullard, 66, of 1346 John Road, Shannon, NC was born January 28, 1955 and took her heavenly flight on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. Samuel and Mrs. Daisy L. Chavis; her late husband: Mr. Malcolm Wayne Brooks; her son: Mr. Ryan Wayne Brooks; sister: Ms. Barbara Warriax; two baby brothers: Mr. Samuel Chavis, Jr. and Mr. Billy Ray Chavis.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Praise and Worship Ministries with Bishop Ricky Deese and Rev. Joe Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the Brooks Family Cemetery.
Mrs. Myrdith was a longtime member of Praise & Worship Ministries in Red Springs, NC of 20 plus years where she served in many compacities. She was employed and retired from Campbell Soup of Maxton, NC with 29 years of employment. She was a humble servant first and foremost. Loving wife mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.
Completing her journey of 66 years, she leaves to cherish her memories her husband: Mr. Stoney Bullard; one son: Mr. Jeffery Brooks of Red Springs; five daughters: Mrs. Amy Cummings (Chris) of Red Springs; Mrs. Lisa Brooks (Henry) of Lumberton; Ms. Shanitha Bullard of Raeford; Mrs. Sierra Bullard Goins (Alex) of Shannon, Ms. Erica Pevia of Red Springs; ten grandchildren: Donavan, Hannaha, Ashton, Justin, Garrison, Alexis, Nykale, Aiden, Alana and AJ; two great-grandchildren: Karmyne and Tayrell; bonus children: Ms. Anna Goins and her sons Michael and Hunter and Mr. Spencer Goins and his children Chayden and Isabella; a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Praise and Worship Ministries.
