Ms. Glenda Lee Locklear, 63, of 209 Ruth Dial St. Pembroke, was born November 29, 1957 and departed this life on October 3, 2021. She is preceded by her parents: Mr. Lee Jacobs and Emma Locklear; two sisters: Ms. Geraldine “Tottie” Locklear and Ms. Patricia Locklear; and two brothers: Mr. Gerald Locklear and Mr. Ronald “Snooks” Locklear.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday, October 7, 2021 with Pastors Ann Thompson, Vernell Blue and Thomas Scott officiating. Burial will follow in the Lumbee Memorial Gardens.
Ms. Glenda is survived by one daughter: Ms. Halona “Faye” Brewington of the home; four sons: Mr. Larry Locklear of Lumberton, Mr. Robert Locklear of Pembroke, Mr. Gary Jones of Wilmington and Mr. Purvis Jones of Pembroke, one grandson: Samuel Locklear; one sister: Ms. Emma Jane Bullard; two brothers: Mr. Paul Locklear and Mr. Jerry Locklear; her beloved pet: Precious; along with a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Grace Church.
