My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family of Mr. James Ricky Harris during this most difficult time. I pray that Gods caring and comforting presence will be bestowed upon you and may his presence help ease the pain of your loss.

Ricky Harris was my trusted friend and one of the finest people I’ve ever known. I’ll miss his laugh and his great advice. I’ll miss the way he praised God and gave him the glory for all his blessings as well as his trials. I’ll miss the way he spoke about his dear mother and the adventures and many lessons of his youth. I will miss our great conversations about our God, our families, travel, food, insurance, banking, and construction, but most of all I’ll miss his loyal friendship and respect his gift of inspiring the people around him and lifting them up, even in the midst of his own personal struggles. I hope when I pass away it can be said that I was as good a friend to others as Ricky was to me. They don’t come any finer than Ricky Harris. He set the bar really really high. Goodbye for now my friend, until we meet again on the other side!
