Mr. Henry Neil Hammonds, 55, of 1262 South Chicken Road Rowland, NC was born October 9, 1965 and departed this life on Monday, May 31, 2021. He is preceded in death by his mother: Ms. Elmer Hammonds Bulter; a brother: Mr. Victor Allen Hammonds; two sons: Mr. Lacoma Lee Locklear and Mr. TJ Locklear; his father: Mr. Prather “Cracker” Strickland, Jr. and grandparents: Mr. Henry and Mrs. Roberta Hammonds.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday, June 6, 2021 at United Pentecostal Church with Revs. Thomas Scott and Mitchell Cummings and Bro. Donald Oxendine officiating. Burial will follow in the Back Swamp Holiness Cemetery.
Left to cherish his memories: his loving wife: Ms. Brenda Lee Locklear; daughter: Ms. Ciera Neilisha Hammonds (Justin); three brothers: Mr. Douglas Hammonds (Linda) Mr. Kendrick (Karlee) and Mr. Kenny Hammonds; one sister: Ms. Maxine Locklear; two grandsons: Candon Gray (Brandon Gray) and Canler Hammonds and a host of relatives and special friends.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 2021 at United Pentecostal Church, 402 Lewis St. Red Springs, NC 28377.
