Mr. Sanford Jacobs, 80, 290 Neil Patrick Drive, Pembroke, NC was born on September 2, 1940 and departed this life on Friday, April 2, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Marvin and Mrs. Aletha Jacobs; son-in-law: Mr. Rex Locklear; three brothers: Mr. James Earl Jacobs, Mr. Harry Truman Jacobs, Mr. Marvin Jacobs, Jr.; three sisters: Ms. Ophelia Hammonds, Ms. Mary Ellen Locklear and Ms. Reatha Mae Jacobs.
The graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2021, at Lumbee Memorial Gardens with Bro. Nathaniel Burnett officiating.
Mr. Jacobs is survived by his wife: Mrs. Polly Jacobs of the home; daughter: Mrs. Shelia Locklear of Jacksonville, Florida; two sons: Mr. Samuel Jacobs(Karen) of Fuquay-Varina and Mr. Sanford Jacobs, Jr.(Ashley) of Zebulon; five grandchildren: Ashley, Sydney, Samuel Kyle, Arianna and Scarlette; four great-grandchildren: La’Niyah, Za’Riyah, Alijah and Alaya; one sister: Mrs. Brenda Gale Sampson(David) of Lumberton and one brother: Mr. Ben Frank Jacobs of Detroit, MI and a host of relatives and friends.
A walk-through visitation will be 12:30-1:30 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2021, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
