Mrs. Mable Locklear,78, was born on March 3, 1943 and departed this life on Saturday, March 20, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. Jimmie Locklear and Mrs. Zettie Mae Locklear; one sister raised as a daughter: Ms. Rena Locklear and one brother: Mr. Herbert Locklear.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at St. Anna Baptist Church with Revs: Jimmy Strickland, Tony Miller, Dufrene Cummings and Kelvin Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Anna Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Mabel is survived by her husband: Mr. Leonard Locklear of the home; three daughters: Mrs. Gertie Locklear Mariani (Hossein), Mrs. Tonya Locklear Rouben (Peter) and Mrs. April Locklear Hunt (Aaron); two sons: Mr. Gregson Locklear and Mr. Leonard Locklear of the home; a brother raised as a son: Mr. Victor Locklear (Shelia) and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at St. Anna Freewill Baptist Church.
