Mrs. Patsy Brayboy

Mrs. Patsy Brayboy, 75, of 131 Lyre Drive, was born April 30, 1942 and departed this life on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents: Mr. Hermon Jacobs and Mrs. Gussie Locklear Jacobs; her husband: Mr. Herman Lewis Brayboy; two brothers: Mr. William Herman Jacobs and Mr. Fred Jacobs; one sister: Ms. Alice Dale Jacobs. The funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January, 12, 2018 at Temple Baptist Church of Antioch with Revs: Redell Hammonds, Floyd Goins and Chris Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the Temple Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Brayboy is survived by four sons: Mr. Thurman Brayboy (Lois), Mr. Ricky Brayboy and Mr. Michael Brayboy (Joy); one daughter: Mrs. Tammy Brayboy Jacobs; three brothers: Mr. Horace Jacobs, Mr. Earnest Lee Locklear and Mr. Tony Jacobs; two sisters: Mrs. Helen Drake (Larry) and Ms. Mildred Horne; seven grandchildren: Jennifer Durea, Bryan Brayboy, Brittany Brayboy, Ricky Brayboy Jr., Dennis Brayboy, Amanda Brayboy and Mayla Brayboy; 11 great-grandchildren; two special friends: Ms. Thelma Elackwell and Mr. Millard Oxendine along with a host of relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 7 – 9 Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
