Ms. Florence Ellen “Fannie” Jacobs, 81, of 128 Cabinet Shop Road, Maxton, was born April 26, 1936 and departed this life to her eternal home on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. Romie & Mrs. Attie Florence Dial Jacobs.
The funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2017, at White Hill Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. James Kelvin Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the White Hill Church Cemetery.
Ms. Jacobs leaves to cherish her memories: her sister and caregiver: Mrs. Gertha Oxendine of the home; a nephew: Mr. Robbie Oxendine (Samantha); two nieces: Ms. Debbie Locklear and Ms. Kathy Jacobs Hunt all of Maxton; a brother-in-law: Mr. Woodroe Jacobs of Maxton; two great nieces: Kiersten Delaney Locklear and Kaitlyn Natiya Hunt; three great-nephews: Zachary Ross Oxendine, Brandon Brice Locklear and Gavin Lucas Oxendine all of Maxton and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2017, at White Hill Freewill Baptist Church.
