Mrs. Katie Locklear Radford, 70, of 3742 Union Chapel Road, Pembroke, was born March 20, 1947 and went to be with the Lord, on Thursday, March 23, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. Thurman and Mrs. Annie Ruth Locklear; her grandparents: Mr. Fuller and Lillie Locklear and Mr. McLaurin and Mrs. Sally Jacobs.
Ms. Locklear was loved and well respected by all who knew her and will be greatly missed in the community.
The funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2017, at Union Chapel Holiness Methodist Church with Revs: Kelvin Locklear and Willie Scott officiating. Burial will follow in the Oxendine Cemetery.
Ms. Locklear is survived by her sister: Ms. Mae Capel; her brothers: Mr. James F. Locklear and Mr. Ronnie Van Locklear; one aunt: Ms. Hariette Locklear and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2017, at Union Chapel Holiness Methodist Church.
