MRS. MARTHA HUNT

Mrs. Martha Hunt of 152 Harley Road Maxton, was born April 4, 1945 in Robeson County and departed this life on Saturday, August 22, 2020. She was 75 years old. She is preceded in death by: her parents: Mr. Willie B. Locklear and Mrs. Mary Frances Locklear; two brothers: Mr. Crummie Locklear and Mr. Willie O. Locklear; two sisters: Ms. Azure Locklear and Ms. Rosie Locklear.

The funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Locklear & Son Funeral Home with Revs. Jimmy Strickland and Phillip Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the White Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Hunt is survived by her husband: Mr. Ardell “Tooter” Hunt of the Home; two sons: Mr. Donnell Hunt of the home and Mr. Joey Hunt (Lorie) of Maxton; four daughters: Mrs. Marlene McQueen (Steve) of Laurinburg, Mrs. Nancy Locklear (Ronnie) of Lumber Bridge, Mrs. Cathy Chavis (Sherman) of Red Springs, and  Arlene Jacobs (Brian) of Lumberton; two brothers: Mr. Tyrone Locklear and Mr. Sterlin “Bobby” Locklear; three sisters: Ms. Pearlie Locklear, Ms. Helen Grammer and Ms. Mary Locklear; sixteen grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

The Family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
