Mr. Patrick LeMark Locklear, age 48 of Pembroke, NC departed this life on Wednesday, December 7, 2022. He was born May 6, 1974 to Ms. Vickie Locklear and the late Mr. Hulen Murphy Locklear, Jr (Dawn Locklear).
He was preceded in death by his father: Mr. Hulen Murphy Locklear, Jr., his paternal grandparents: Mr. Hulen Murphy Locklear, Sr. and Mrs. Daisy Locklear; his maternal grandparents: Mr. John Bennie Chavis and Mrs. Ruthie Jane Chavis; two uncles: Mr. Ray Chavis and Mr. Brantly Chavis; one aunt: Mrs. Cara Mae Locklear.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, December 12, 2022, at Bear Swamp Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Tim Chavis officiating. Burial will follow in the Bear Swamp Church Cemetery.
He leaves behind cherished memories to his one and only son: Mr. Brarick LeMark Locklear and his wife Mrs. Shareka Kay Wilkins-Locklear; five grandchildren, Master Kinston Blake Wilkins, Miss Ansleigh Rayne Locklear, Miss Bransleigh Kaye Locklear, Master Bryce Locklear, and Master Brarick LeMark Locklear, Jr.; three sisters: Ms. Erin Joleen Oxendine (Mr. Barry Oxendine) and Dr. Ashley Locklear-Batton and Ms. Casey Locklear; one brother: Mr. Justin Wayne Locklear; uncles: Mr. Vinson Chavis and Mr. Nicky Locklear; aunts: Ms. Caffie Kremski, Ms. Mary Lowery, Ms. Crese Ransom, Ms. Theresa Bullard, Ms. Julia Locklear, Ms. Jewel Locklear, Ms. Tonja Jones and Ms. Vontiese Locklear; seven nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, Ms. Ronda Wright and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Monday, December 12, 2022, at Bear Swamp Baptist Church.
