Mr. Leander Davis, Jr., 66, of 233 Nelson Drive, Maxton, was born October 23, 1958 and departed this life on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Leander & Mrs. Mary Annah Davis; three brothers: Mr. Stanley Davis, Mr. Cary Davis and Mr. Dan Davis.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Faith Baptist Church with the Revs: Jerry Locklear, Charlie Davis and Danny Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in the Davis Family Cemetery.
Mr. Leander is survived by a brother: Mr. Charles Davis and a sister: Ms. Barbara Davis both of Maxton; a special nephew: Austin Davis of the home and a special friend: Mr. Willie Brooks of Maxton and a host of nieces and nephews along with many others who loved and cherished him.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Faith Baptist Church.
