Mr. Donnie Wilkins

Mr. Donnie Wilkins, 47, of 878 Beam Road was born December 25, 1970 to Mr. Donald & Ms. Linda Wilkins. He departed this life Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Mr. Adnell & Mrs. Bertha M. Locklear and Mr. Cary L. Wilkins and uncles: Mr. Johnnie Locklear, Mr. Ronald Wilkins and Mr. Samuel Wilkins. The funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 14, 2018, at Burnt Swamp Baptist Church with the Rev. Keith Long officiating. Burial will follow in the Burnt Swamp Church Cemetery. Surviving are his mother: Ms. Linda Wilkins of the home; his father: Mr. Donald Wilkins of Lumberton; two sisters: Mrs. Stephaine N. Locklear(Aaron) and Ms. Sarah L. Wilkins both of Lumberton; his grandmother: Mrs. Reedy Wilkins of Red Springs; aunts: Mrs. Annie Locklear(Lelan), Mrs. Betty Oxendine(Benjamin), Ms. Bertha Locklear, Ms. Joycie M. Hunt, Ms. Gertrude Oxendine; three nephews: Seth C. Locklear, Avry C. Locklear and Elijah L. Maynor all of Lumberton; a special friend: Ms. Lydia Chavis and her daughter: Ms. Nikki Chavis both of Rowland and a host of relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, October 14, 2018, at Burnt Swamp Baptist Church. Services entrusted to Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
