Mr. Albert Lowery, 80, of Pembroke, was born on July 22, 1940 and departed this life on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Layton and Mrs. Mary Lee Lowery; two brothers: Mr. James Earl Lowery and Mr. Ivory Lowery; a sister: Ms. Bobby Jean Chavis and a niece Mrs. Illya Chavis Lindsey.
The funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Bear Swamp Baptist Church with Revs: Hubbard Lowery and Anthony Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years: Mrs. Martha Lowery; a daughter: Mrs. Kesha Hunt (Donnie) of Pembroke; a son: Mr. Michael D. Lowery of the home; five grandchildren: Moriah Hunt (Austin), Hunter Lowery (Cory), Noah Hunt (Kaitlin) Kennedy Lowery (Cameron), and Daniel Hunt (Payton) one great-granddaughter; Paisley Rayne Lowery two brothers: Rev. Hubbard Lowery (Phyllis) and Mr. Robert Lowery both of Pembroke; two sisters: Mrs. Sally Matos (Armando) and Mrs. Leah Lowry (George) both of Pembroke; and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 3:00 Saturday October 31, 2020 at Bear Swamp Baptist Church.
