Mrs. Jeannie Jo Bell-Nichols, 58, of Cary formerly of Pembroke, died Monday, April 23, 2012, at Wake Med Hospital in Raleigh. She was born in Pembroke, NC on June 1, 1953. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Cary. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. Hardy H. Bell and Mrs. Mary Bell Deese and her husband: Mr. Michael Eugene Nichols.
A celebration of her life will be held Friday, April 27, 2012, at First Baptist in Cary from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Berea Baptist Church in Pembroke from 5-7 p.m. A private graveside service will be held at Berea Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Bell-Nichols is survived by her sister: Mrs. Marty Bell-Knell(Donnie), niece Sunny Myers(Isaac), stepchildren: Mr. Corey Nichols(Chelsea), Mrs. Kelly Mabrey(Jimmy); six grandchildren and an extended family: Mr. Earl Deese, Ms. Dianne Chavis, Dr. Joseph Deese and Ms. Maxine Deese. She was Godmother to many children that she loved dearly.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Carolina’s Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis, 3101 Industrial Dr., Suite 210, Raleigh, NC in honor of Jeannie Jo Bell-Nichols.
