Mr. Johnny Jacobs

     Mr. Johnny Jacobs, 69, of 4178 Oxendine School Road, Maxton, a child of GOD, a beloved brother departed this life on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at his home surrounded by his family.  Mr. Jacobs was born in Robeson County, May 14, 1946, the eldest son of the late Mr. Dallas & Mrs. Paree Jacobs.  He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Mr. Jerry Jacobs and Mr. Ricky Jacobs.
The funeral will be Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Cherokee Chapel Methodist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Locklear and Bro. Jennings Bullard officiating.  Burial will follow in the Cherokee Chapel Cemetery.
Surviving are five brothers: Mr. Arlie Jacobs(Late Venus), Mr. Ben Jacobs(Mitzi) both of Red Springs, Mr. Kenny Jacobs of the home, Mr. Don Jacobs of Rex and Mr. Jeff Jacobs(Jan) of Maxton; a sister: Ms. Lynette Jacobs of the home and a host of relatives and friends; special relatives that were a part of his life: Ms. Dinah L. Butcher, Mr. Jimmy Jacobs, Mr. Joseph Jacobs and Mr. Johnny Strickland.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Cherokee Chapel Church.
