Master Sergeant Earl Newman Gore, 80, of 863 Oxendine Road, Pembroke, was born September 28, 1933 and departed this life on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at Southeastern Hospice House. MSGT Gore was preceded in death by a son: Mr. George Michael Wainwright; his parents: Mr. Edgar & Mrs. Adele Gore; and a brother: M.r William “Billy” Gore.
MSGT Earl N. Gore served our country for 21 years in the military.
The funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 20, 2014, at New Hope Church with the Revs: Jerry Locklear and Keith Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the Sandcutt Cemetery.
MSGT Gore leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 48 years: Mrs. Magdalene Gore of the home; three daughters: Mrs. Ethel Rena Locklear (Jerry), Ms. Jean Gail Jacobs, and Mrs. Sharon Kaye Hunt (Tim) all of Pembroke; one sister: Ms. Lucille Peek; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
MSGT Gore also leaves a much larger family to cherish his memory consisting of nieces and nephews, and a special son: Mr. Joe Feeko.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2014 at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
